Jannes Schäfer:

My name is Jannes Schäfer, I am 19 years old and I will be serving as one of your Presidents of the Security Council. I achieved my Abitur in 2022 and am currently waiting to begin my studies in order to become a police officer.

My previous school hosted its own MUN (MUNOL) in which I participated four times, two of which as a delegate. In 2021 I gained my first experience as a chair with the position of the President of the Economic and Social Council and in 2022 I was honored with the responsibility of being President of the General Assembly. I also took part in RIMUN 2019, THIMUN 2020 and MUNOH 2021. 

In my free time I enjoy to work out at the gym and play handball. Furthermore, I like traveling and meeting new people as well as simply spending time with my friends and family.

Hi, I am Johannes. I am 18 years old and I currently work in outpatient care as a nursing assistant. I love to work out and read in my freetime. In the past I have participated in 4 MUN conferences and in this one, I will be your chair in the Security Council. I am very much looking forward to meeting you!

Khuslen Tulga

Dear Delegates, it is my utmost pleasure to welcome you to Flensburg MUN. My name is Khuslen and I’m currently a student at Europa-Universität Flensburg studying European Cultures and Society. It is an immense honor to return as a chair to UNESCO at Flensburg MUN. In the two times I have participated in MUNs, I delegated to the ECOSOC Committee throughout 2017-2018. Delegating for South Korea and Iraq and earning the “Best Delegate” and “Commendation” awards respectively. MUN holds a dear place in my heart, as it enlightened me with so many new perspectives and set many lifelong friendships whilst sharpening my skills. I wish the same for you too. Cannot wait to meet all of you.
